Pink - Perfect

Although for release it has been named 'Perfect', the song is infact called Fuckin Perfect... just to make sure you know. I love it, when I first heard the greatest hits I was like yeah..this is a good track. It has all the feel of Christina Aguilera' 'Beautiful' (although totally different sounds) but it has the whole we are who we are thing going on and why should we want to be anything but ourselves.

I have been seeing this video all week on the music channels and think that this single may have more success than previous hit 'Raise your Glass' which did not quite do the chart damage it should have.

P!nk is currently pregnant and does not feature too much in this vieo, it would seem that things are on the up for her and her family to be.

Ellie Goulding - Lights (clearly her best music vid yet)

Ellie Goulding had a huge hit just before Christmas with Your Songwhich seems to have clung onto the top ten for months now. So to follow it up Ellie releases 'Lights' which I have to say is a great song, and better yet she has done a video that does not make me wanna change the channel when I see it. Furthermore, she has a single out with man of the moment Tinie Tempah- 'Wonderman' which is another favourite of mine from Tinie' Album 'Disc-Overy'.

Ellie' campaign for the album 'Lights' has lasted nearly a year with a re-release 'Bright Lights' bringing an extra few tracks including Your Song and Lights, also a song writer for many other stars it would seem there is no stopping our home grown talent from taking over the music charts and festivals. Looks like the critics choice was the right choice.

Avril Lavigne - What The Hell

Wicked, Avril is back to her 'Girlfriend' best, she seems to disappear for years and that is all apart of Avril's writing process, she needs to live and grow and each time she comes back it is with a really great pop/rock infusion of music. I have been a fan since 'Complicated' and when you think about it, Avril has had some pretty decent songs all within keeping of the genre she has become such a success in. It is the year of the DIVA comebacks and new starters and Avril stamps her claim here once more.

Listen to the track What The Hell ....

Jennifer Lopez feat Pitpull - On The Floor

A new year - a new comeback - I think this is as good as any song for Jennifer Lopez, she has had a few turkeys over the past few years but this is a return that will be pretty big world wide I reckon. Congrats to Red One for making yet another club stomper dancefloor filler TUNE. Featuring Pitbull and a sample of some old retro song this is the perfect way to kick start the JLO return, To The Floor will be everywhere pretty soon.

Alexis Jordan - Good Girl

Fresh off her success with 'Happiness' Alexis Jordan is back with 'Good Girl' another catchy pop tune! I love this girl, she is so cute and her music makes me feel happy! I hope she will get the support from this song that she got from 'Happiness' as it is just as catchy... I predicted way back that Alexis was going to have the potential to be huge, and here is evidence she is not a one trick pony. Really good song, it's another slow burner - people will slowly start humming it, then it gets on the radio all the time, you know the drill, before you know people will be saying in two months, Adam - have you heard that Alexis Jordan tune? I will say, yep - blogged it months ago! ANYHOW... new video is below, this is the sort of direction I hope Leona Lewis will take, their voices are not too unalike.

Adele - 21

Adele is back at last, after the epic album 19 from 2008 which saw great hits including the reoccurring chart entries of Make You Feel My Love, which has come in and out of the chart over the past TWO YEARS, which is simply amazing. Also hits such as number 1 single Chasing Pavements and the brilliant Hometown Glory.

I put Adele' success down to her stunning voice and the fact she is still the same person and has remained completely grounded throughout her triumphant success. She is a huge international star and carries on proving she is here to stay on new album 21. From first single Rolling In The Deep which I predicted back in November that it would be a huge song, and here it is - EPIC dominating the charts worldwide.

Other stand out tracks for me are Rumour Has It, Turning Tables, Set Fire To The Rain and Take It All, this album is a 10 out of 10. 21 fully showcases Adele' fantastic vocal range and cements her as one of the UK's most recognisable female solo artists. If you have not brought the album 21, go now and buy it! You will not be disappointed.

Below is the video from Rolling in the deep by Adele, both the single and album are out now and already dominating the charts across the world.

A New Girlband 'Wonderland' has landed

I am not going to compare them to anyone else, they are a different version of what is already out there, is it any good? I like the song... it's a pop song and right now the charts have many different types of music going into the top ten, it's probably the most varied it has been so there is room for a new girl group out there.

Wonderland' 'Not A Love Song' is a good track if you like your girl groups.Which I do so therefore quite like this. What do you think? I am yet to decide if this is number one material, but they have a good following and is a good first effort! I look forward to seeing what else will come from them.

Bruno Mars - Doo Wops and Hooligans

A third time at number one in the UK for Bruno Mars. I am really liking his music, normally as you can probably see from my blog it's all about the Diva's but rarely a musical male comes about that grabs my attention.

Highlights from debut album Doo Wops & Hooligans are Marry You, Just The Way You Are, Grenade and Runaway Baby' of course all tracks are amazing, I was unaware just how talented Bruno is, having written other big hits including Cee Lo Greens F*ck You, Travie McCoy' Billionaire, K'Naan' Wavin Flag and Flo-Rida Round Round. It seems there is no stopping this young guy from conquering the world. He has scored 3 UK numbers in a row and repeats the success across the world. Glee has covered his songs in the second series, including one that has not been released yet so that can only help in getting that song promotion (I wont mention as I know my readers in the UK might not have seen that episode yet).

Just The Way You Are is one of the most beautiful songs I have heard, and the album talks about every day type things that we all think about or do, it is a very real album if that makes sense?! If I was to choose anyone for him to work with, it would be Rihanna.

Anyway right now I am loving Grenade so here it is, the album Doo Wops & Hooligans is out now and is well worth a purchase.

Alesha Dixon feat Jay Sean Every Little Part Of Me

Alesha Dixon and Jay Sean have teamed up for this Brit's abroad type of song amazingness, it's catchy and Alesha has not had the sort of success you would expect from her, she has an infectious personality, great looks and can sing/rap, dance and is also a hit maker. But her singles do not reach the dizzy heights of number 1, she should. Enough said.

Last two singles may of been the wrong way round perhaps Every Little Part of Me should have been first? Followed by Drummer Boy or Radio (which I love).

Every Little Part of Me features Jay Sean, who has conquered America and worked with everyone in the business and could be the right person to break Alesha into a crowd that might appreciate her music as she has the right look & sound to go all the way!

Every Little Part of Me is out soon and is taken from the album The Entertainer. Which is out now.

Jessie J - Do It Like A Dude

Do it like a brother, do it like a dude... Jessie J is the hottest tip of 2011 by a mile, she writes, performs and has a versatile voice that is going to win her every type of fan going. Although Jessie J has spent most part of her career writing for others such as Miley Cyrus and Justin Timberlake she has now managed to secure a new album as an artist in her own right, all this at the tender age of just 22! She is also writing for Leona Lewis and Britney Spears.

Jessie J has already won the critics choice award for the Brits 2011, other winners include Ellie Goulding, Florence and the machine and Adele, so it is inevitable that Jessie J will go on to be a major success.

I see Jessie J as the future of the UK and even worldwide music scene, she has the whole thing, and will go on to global success!

Although Jessie' life has been no bed of roses, she believes that has made her stronger and given her the ability to write the songs she has. I cannot wait for the album 'Who You Are' which is due for release in early 2011.  Also, I might take this opportunity to mention that we are both from Essex, so it goes without saying, I am instantly biased and must worship her sound, but it helps that her sound is pretty amazing. Clare Maguire - amazing video Alert The Last Dance

WOW... OK so the other day I featured Clare Maguire' song 'Ain't Nobody' where the song is pretty epic in itself, the video equally, but this song just tops it, the official first single 'The Last Dance' - I cannot stop watching the video, I am obsessed and want more more more. She gives me goosebumps and I feel good watching her- I am such a fan, I will need to go see her live.

Anyway..enough of my waffle let the amazing video and song captivate you like it has me..

She is beautiful.

Sunday Girl - Stop Hey another one to watch

I have just found another new obsession, I love Sunday Girl, new single Stop Hey is set to be released in the UK in January 2011. I think it deserves much greatness. Have a listen below. She is stunning and so cool, and unique, I want to see more music from her.. the voice is just amazing and captivates me. If you like what you see below you should check out Sunday Girls website HERE I love all the music on there and her random pictures of dressing up animals lol.

I think big things are in the pipeline for Sunday Girl, at a time when so many new UK female artists are emerging and gaining credibility where it has been so hard before, Sunday Girl is definitely a real contender for chart glory, along with other acts in 2011 Jessie J, Clare Maguire, Adele, Natalia Kills, Leona Lewis and Ellie Goulding there really is something for everyone. I am glad we seem to be getting more credible artists here, for so long our charts have been dominated by the American power diva's and now it is the UK's turn to show the rest of the world what we can offer.

Clare Maguire - Ain't Nobody - a hot tip for 2011

Clare Maguire is already a hot tip for 2011, I only heard about her over the festive period on a music channel and instantly thought, hmm this little lady is the Florence and The Machine of 2011, not that their music is similar but their presence and the feel of what is surrounding them. She has said that debut album 'Light After Dark', to be released in February 11, is an epic record, and judging from the below video this will indeed be the case. I remember when I first heard 'Dog Days Are Over' and told everyone I knew about it, and it seemed forever before it was famous, maybe that is the way Clare will go, but either way she will be a huge success all over the world, I can feel it.

Recording of the debut album has taken over 2 years and I am sure for Clare, the release of first single 'Ain't Nobody' is a huge relief to see her hard work pay off, and with the critical acclaim she is fast gathering, I think the only way is up for her in the coming months.

Dragonette - 5 reasons they should be huge

Happy New Year readers, what a way to start - blogging about the people that inspired me to start and the subject of my first ever blog (As seen here) this being my first blog in 2011 it seemed fitting to once again bang on about how great Dragonette are! They have so much to offer and I can't understand why they have not yet exploded into the charts.

I will start with most recent offering, Martin Solveig featured Dragonette on a single called Boys and Girls, it was awesome, HOWEVER, newer single (it has been around since June 10) Hello is genius and is now officially available for download, I love it so much.

Please if you like even one track below, look into their already vast catalogue of music, they have some really awesome songs (such as Take It Like A Man, Gone Too Far, Liar, Stupid Grin, Pick Up The Phone and I get around but to name a few more reasons to love them).

1) Martin Solveig featuring Dragonette - Hello

2) Dragonette - Our Summer - this is a tune of epic quality in my eyes.

3) Dragonette - Fixin To Thrill - equally A-MAZING.

4) Kaskade feat Dragonette - Fire in your new Shoes

5) Dragonette - Easy - slower but still a great song - tough choice as there are more than 5 reasons to love Dragonette.
